The Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) is the federally designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and provides services designed to help senior Coloradans live full and healthy lives. By analyzing CO APCD data from a group of individuals who did not receive AAA services compared to those who did, DRCOG is working to determine the influence their work has on the health care utilization and the quality of life of older Coloradans. During this Chat, we learn whether DRCOG realized cost savings through the AAA services and how the outcomes of AAA clients differ from those not in the program.
