A PhD student at UC Denver used CO APCD data to investigate whether a patient’s socio-economic status or health insurance plan affected their access to potentially life-saving, but expensive, genetic testing. This project combined CO APCD data and data from the Colorado Central Cancer Registry. During this Chat, we learn what the student discovered and why Colorado was an ideal place to conduct this study.
